The Panduit T050X000CBC-BK is a continuous tape cassette containing thermal transfer material for printing black-on-white adhesive labels for network identification or other applications. The label material is 0.50 inches in height and can be cut to any desirable width. It is made of vinyl cloth, which resists oil, has low moisture absorption, and is non-conductive. It is rated for indoor and outdoor use and has a temperature range of 50 to 170 degrees F. Only application to flat surfaces is recommended. The cassette contains an integrated memory device for automatic formatting, recall of last legend used, and the number of labels remaining in the cassette. The cassette contains 12.5' of label material, as well as the printing ribbon. It is Underwriters Laboratories (UL) recognized and compliant with the Restriction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS) directive. This continuous tape cassette is suitable for use with Panduit's PanTher LS8E and Cougar LS9 hand-held thermal transfer printers.Thermal transfer (TT) labels come in sheets, rolls, or cassettes with an adhesive backing and a surface material die-cut into individual shapes for use in thermal transfer printers. As the label passes through the printer, a thermal printhead melts a coating of wax or resin from the ink ribbon onto the label where it is then absorbed.
